SiteQuote Privacy Policy

SiteQuote is a mobile app for making job quotes and invoices. Benjamin Kane, an individual in North Carolina, USA, operates it ("we", "us"). Contact: kanewebservices828@gmail.com.

Short version

SiteQuote has no accounts and no servers. Everything you enter stays on your phone, including your photos. We don't collect, sell or share your personal information. We don't use ads, analytics or tracking.

What the app stores on your phone

The app saves the following in its private storage on your device:

• Your business details and logo
• Customers and job addresses
• Quotes, invoices, prices and your materials list
• Job photos
• App settings
• A small local crash log

We can't access any of this. Android backup is turned off for the app, so this data isn't copied to your Google account backup either.

Photos and logos

• When you add a photo, SiteQuote opens your phone's own camera app or the Android photo picker.
• The app doesn't request general camera, photo-library or storage permissions. It only receives the specific picture you take or choose.
• It keeps a resized copy in its private storage. The copy is never uploaded.
• When photos are added to a PDF, the app removes location (GPS) and camera details (EXIF) from them.
• A photo leaves your phone only if you turn on the optional photos page in a PDF and then share that PDF yourself.

Sharing PDFs

When you tap Share, Print or Save, Android hands the PDF to the app or printer you pick (for example email, a messaging app or Drive). That transfer is your choice. From then on, that app's or service's privacy terms apply. We don't receive a copy.

Built-in reference content

Any reference prices or other content built into the app are stored on your phone. Using them doesn't send any data.

Purchases

Paid plans are monthly subscriptions that renew automatically until you cancel them in Google Play. Google Play handles subscriptions through Google Play Billing. We never see your payment card. The app receives only purchase status from Google (for example, which plan is active) so it can unlock features. Google's privacy policy covers your payment information.

Internet use

The app connects to the internet only:

• for Google Play Billing
• when you tap a link, such as this policy or Play's subscription page

Crash log

If the app crashes, it saves a short technical log on your phone. The log contains no quote, customer or photo content and is capped in size. It's sent to us only if you choose to share it, for example by emailing it to support.

Voice and AI

This version has no voice recording or AI features. If we add features that send data off your phone, we'll update this policy and the app's Google Play data disclosures, and we'll ask for your consent where required before anything is sent.

Deleting your data

Go to Settings > Delete all my data and type DELETE. This permanently erases all quotes, invoices, customers, prices, photos, logos, settings and the crash log on this phone. Uninstalling the app also removes this data. We hold no copy, so it can't be recovered.

• Deleting data does not cancel a subscription. To cancel, go to Google Play > Payments & subscriptions.
• PDFs you've already shared are outside the app. Delete them in whatever app you sent them to.

Children

SiteQuote is a business tool for adults and isn't directed at children under 13.

Your rights

We hold no personal data about you on any server, so there's normally nothing for us to access, correct or delete. You can email us with any request or question.

Changes

We'll post updates on this page and change the effective date.
